One of my favorite hobbies is language learning. Particularly learning Japanese, Japan’s culture and Martial arts. As playing Japanese games at a young age on consoles was my inspiration in becoming a game developer as their innovation with that limited tech was unparalleled, and most games were written in Binary language. During my late teens and till the present day, I have met many Japanese people in Malta, worked for ten months with a Japanese company as a Tour Coordinator, taught English to Japanese students as a Private English Teacher, was a Japanese interpreter for Japanese clients for sales of Maltese pastries and delicacies when I was a Food Runner for three months and also guided Japanese people around the Maltese islands as a Freelance Guide which happened on and off. Overall using the language in a practical manner resulted in me improving my skill in Japanese drastically.

I can speak Maltese, English, Italian, Japanese and I dabble a bit in Spanish and Russian.

Some other noteworthy job experiences were: as a Salesman in a clothing line for men for 6 months, I was also an IT lecturer for children of mixed classes between 2-16 years of age. I was teaching AI & Coding for Kids and ECDL for 3 months. Later on I was also teaching adult classes in Graphic Design for two years. This covered from the basic toolset of photoshop editing to intermediate levels with animation, sound and video timeline editing.

After a successful three month student placement by MITA assigned to the IT Department of MTA, I was hired full-time as an IT executive at MTA were we cover and maintain ISO certifications 9001 and 27001 for quality and handle all IT tasks such as daily operations and troubleshooting of 250+ users and projects of different departments in the company.

I love Martial arts as they help me stay mentally, physically and spiritually healthy.
I practice Yoshinkan Aikidō [養神館合気道] and Hyōhō Niten Ichi-ryū [兵法二天一流]
